YPS collaborates with a community organisation to help the youngsters in North Manchester develop better Soft Skills

The Young Professionals Society is pleased to collaborate with Guidance Hub, a community organisation working in North Manchester (England) to serve the region’s diverse communities. Guidance Hub won the Beacon Mosque Award for best ‘Youth Service’ in 2019.

The collaboration will see YPS and GH take a lead in running several activities enabling the region’s youth to develop better soft skills, which are crucial and play a key role in working life of any successful professional. YPS will launch its popular Young Speakers & Writers Clubs and open them for the youngsters of the region. The activities will run in both modes, virtual (Zoom) and face-to-face (at the Guidance Hub Centre in Cheetham). See video announcement.

Shaykha Noshin Gul chairperson of Guidance Hub said “there is a big need in soft skills development in our area and the youngsters will benefit immensely from this collaboration with Young Professionals Society”

Professor Waqar Ahmed (President, YPS) and Dr Nasar Ali (Chair, YPS) both welcomed and endorsed the ‘collaboration’ and were extremely keen to initiate and start up activities in order to help the youth of North Manchester to develop their soft skills.
